Excess Oestrogen
A hormonal imbalance can sometimes result in the production of excess oestrogen. Other causes are the use of oral contraceptives and post-menopausal hormone replacement therapy, as well as the excessive intake of coffee, tea, chocolate, or vitamin E. The effects of excess levels of oestrogen in the body can result in acne, skin lesions, constipation, moodiness, allergies, water retention, depression, and chronic musculoskeletal aching.

Fibroid Tumours
The most severe effects of excess oestrogen can include uterine fibroid tumours, polycystic ovary syndrome, breast tumours, infertility, thickened uterine lining, accelerated ageing, autoimmune disorders, anxiety and panic attacks. There are many ways which can assist in correcting this condition. Some of these are the intake of nutritional supplements like magnesium and vitamin B complex, the application of a natural progesterone cream, detoxification with supplements like calcium d-glucarate, and dietary changes to reduce the intake of phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens.
