Adrenal Hormone Imbalance
Your adrenal glands can produce three kinds of hormones: adrenaline or epinephrine, cortisol, and dehydroeplandrosterone or DHEA. Adrenaline can make you feel very energetic, focused, and alert. However, if it is used too frequently, it will ultimately cause an imbalance in your body.

Cortisol can also provide more energy to the body, but when the cortisol levels become too high or too low, symptoms can include osteoporosis, weight gain, kidney damage, allergies, high blood sugar, yeast infections, cancer, and an increased vulnerability to viruses, bacteria, and parasites. DHEA is vital to protein building as well as resistance to disease. It is also needed for the production of androgen, oestrogen, and testosterone. The levels of DHEA in the body decrease with age and this can result in the decline of a person’s libido.
